How to install plugins? (eg LCD-3.7)

I have downloaded the LCD-3.7 and the DVDSpy-1.65 plugins, but I cannot see how they should be installed into Girder.

I thought that plugins were ".dll" or were delivered zipped up. However, neither of these files have an extension that indicates what they are?

Can some please advise me what I need to do with these files?

I think dvd spy comes with an installer?

If it has dll's you normally put them in the plugin directory of girder, HOWEVER! with dvd spy read the readme! Especially if it has no installer... It has a lot bit's that go everywhere.

The problem is that the file that has downloaded to my PC is just called "DVDSpy-1.65".

It has no "exe" or "zip" or "dll" extension, so I don't know what type of file it is. What am I supposed to do with this file? Am I supposed to assume that it is an "exe" file and rename it to include".exe" on the end?

It is probably very obvious how I should use this downloaded file - but I haven't discovered it yet, so any advice would be appreciated....... :-?

Sorry, there are exe's.... something is going wrong on the site - give me a bit to fix it.
