Default Working plugin for Terratec Cinergy 400

I changed the ManliTV Plugin to work with my Cinergy 400.
If you want to try it, goto:

It's a little quick and dirty, but works... :wink:

Default Good woork!

Nice, seems to be working.

To bad I just recently built my own IR-receiver, But still, good work.

Jus one thing, perhaps you should change the plugin ID. It has the same as the Manli plugin.

[edit] ..and the name Girder finds is not correct, some character before the correct name i displayd. Looks like what you get if you steps beyond the size of a string in C++.

Hi that is very nice.

Do you think that can be used for other tv-cards based on the same chip (saa7134) as well?
I have a medion tv-card, (Avermedia 7134 model).
How can I use you DLL for this card? Do I simply rename the dll, or what to do ???

Hope you can give me some information on this issue.

Thank you very much

@sbp
You can't use the dll for another card. Bad, but every board manufacturer seems to have his own way of connecting the ir circuit to the philips chip. So, what I do next is try to make the plugin somewhat "generic", that meens you will have a configuration window with presets for common cards.

@Monshi
As I said, this was somewhat quick and dirty. See above...

Default Generic dll

Thank you for the info.

I have been following another tread, where Tito seems to have changed the same Manlitv dll, so that he is able to press his remote and Girder can read that the remote is pressed. However, he seems to have some problems because when he press button 1 Girder reads 3 ect.

In this tread there are some information on this Medion 7134 TV-card. Maybe you can find some usefull information on how to make your generic 7134 dll.

If you want me to test some of your alpha or beta 7134.dlls I would be happy to help you.

SBP

Edit:
Please look in this tread:

Hi SGR

I just can't wait for new information on your generic 7134.dll - so I have to ask. Have you had any progress on your program?

As I have the medion 7134 card, can I suply you with any information that you need?

Do you know where to look for obtaining the GPIO pin number - in the reg on the card, or do I need to run any specific software to find this information?

You're really hot about this stuff, aren't you?
Well, since I replied to the medion thread, you may find all info there.
So long...
