Hi,

is it possible, that I can controll a Mixer State (valume) with a normal IR-Mouse??

I want to buy 6 to 9 Mice to controll the whole Windows Mixer!!! 8)

Is this possible or is the IR-Signal a total different?? :-?

PS German:

Ist das Infrarot Signal einer Scrollmaus mit Infrarot dasselbe, welches das IrgorPlugin empfangen kann???
gibt es Scrolltasten, die ich an den PC anschließen kann??

You can control all of the functions of the windows mixer from Girder. It won't work with several mice as they all will report the same to Windows so Girder can't tell the difference between them. You could do this will multiple game pads and the HID plugin.

Yes I know allready!! (I did it with a normal TV-Controller)

But I'm searching for a Firm witch produces mices with multiple CHANNELS!!
Did it not work?? Do they not have a different IR Signal??

How does these "Gamepads" work?
Which connection to the PC (IR???)
Have they a ScrollWeel???

Thanks for Coments

Not sure what you mean by IR signal...

HID devices (USB) can generate different events in Girder. A mouse will not.

IR= Infrarot (I have the IgorPlugin in my USB Port which becomes IR Signals from the TV-Controller, and now I want to controll this with a Mouse instead of the TV-Controller!!!)

Wat the hell is HID?? Can U give me a picture?? :)

HID = Human Interface Device... they are USB devices like a mouse

OK I thinj we are talking a other language!! :-?

From the Beginning:

I have:

- The USB Igor Plugin (lock the Attachment or

- Girder and the DRIVER for Igor
- A IR Controller for TV

Everything is working!
I CAN change every volume of my MIXER withe the controller!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Question/Problem

I want to test/ask if I could use a Mouse (witch sends its Data via IR) instead of the TV-Controller

Everything Clear??
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The big Problem:
I have no Mouse with IR and don't want to buy one if it does not work!

Has anyone any idea??

ThanX

Most wireless mice use RF (radio frequency) rather than IR to communicate with the computer.
