I'm just getting started using NR and Girder. I am trying to figure out how to best get information from a database (mysql preferred) into NetRemote (possibly via Girder).

I did some "googling" and discovered LuaSQL.

Has anyone looked at using this?

I am just starting to learn Lua and am wondering if there is a way get the LuaSQL functions available withing NetRemote (and/or Girder). There are windows binaries (not useful for PocketPC NetRemote) and source code available for LuaSQL, though I have no idea if it can be compiled/added to Lua within NetRemote.

If possible, it seems this might be an easy way to open the lines of communication between NetRemote/Girder and a variety of databases.
