View Full Version : Cheap European X10 products???

September 28th, 2005, 08:56 AM

does anyone know where to find X10 products, for a reasonable price, in the European market?? All I've found have been twice the price of the US versions, but of course I need x10 appliances that work with 220/230V.

Bill, there's no significant difference in price between the big starter kit there and in Norway. The difference is around 20 AUD, 100 norwegian kroner, and I guess that with postage from down under and to the opposite end of the earth will make it more expensive in the end.

Here's the norwegian kit: http://www.smarthus.info/product_info.php?cPath=1_17&products_id=1195

And the same kit down under: http://www.eon3.com/content/products/product-detail.asp?intProductID=371

I have had a number of bits from www.simplyautomate.com they have been good about explaining things for my wife, who wanted to get me some more gadgets.

Well, just ordered USB-UIRT and thinking of getting X10 CM19A for appliance control. Those should get me on the way to automatic home :)

Mastiff, could you tell me which products of Clas Ohlson work with x10 transmitters? I live in finland, and we have Clas Ohlson here too, or I could order from sweden if they don't have all models here.

Hi all!
I've just found a very complete portal with full offer on X10 - the EuroX10.
They have the best prices on some products and they offer the shipping costs for all europe.

Hope this helped!
