Hey all. First post. I have a Pronto TSU 2000, USBUIRT, and Snap Stream Beyond TV. I want to control the program and access recorded programs via IR from another room (cpu is connected to every tv in the house via Cable out). Will girder allow me to do this? Will it have some kind of an onscreen menu to help me navigate.

Thanks, Craig

This is doable with Girder.

Download G4. The Snapstream.gml is available here

Have a look at the G4 manual on how to add events (from the Pronto) to the gml.

I forgot a couple of things. do i need to download a usbuirt plug in? Also, can i use Girder 3.3 with what i want to do and will the snapstream plug in work with it if I can?

Thanks, Craig

Hey Craig,

Yes you can use 3.3 and yes you'll need the usbuirt plug in. If you have btv Link you can use that or just have girder send network commands. Girder 4 might be better for this but I haven't made the upgrade yet. There are several GML's in the SS forums.

Just grab some ir codes for a device you don't use from remotecentral.com and you should be set.

Hope that helps,
