info on IRTrans Ethernet : http://www.irtrans.de/en/technicalinfo/lan.php

After a long reading, I see that the IRTrans Ethernet can be control with a PPC (using netremote) but it needs girder to do so (that run on a PC).

My purpose is to control this device without the need of a PC using the wireless capabilities of my PCC like IR to RF transmitter to pass throught the wall and increase the range of my PPC.

here is my question can netremote directly control the IRTrans Ethernet using wireleess.
Is there a plugin that do so ?

thnaks in advance and forget my bad english :)

We have been talking with Marcus about adding this ability.

I beleive he is sending us a device to do so.

Has there been any progress on this? I'm interested in doing this same thing (controlling IRTrans Ethernet via NetRemote, but without needing any PC in the mix).

this should be possible with the GIP plugin in NR 1.5 beta.

the device excepts simple ascii commands
