View Full Version : lirc config for remote on Girder

Hi all,

I have a strange remote control for my STB that refuses to be learned by Girder. I can get virtually any other remote to work, but this one. I have checked with others with the same STB and they have gotten the same results.

When looking through the LIRC pages, i found a config file for this STB remote, but for use with LIRC and WinLIRC. I am using an MCE IR Blaster which doesn't work with WinLIRC. I was hoping if someone could tell me if I can somehow set up Girder to send the codes from lirc configuration, rather than just depending on raw bitstreams ?

Which STB is it?

It's manifactured by a company called Advanced Digital Systems, the model # is ADB3000. The STB I have may be slight modified by the provider - Starhub in Singapore. Looks like the box using RC-MM coding for the remote.
