Hi all
I have made 1 USB device using AT90S2313-10PC AVR, and IgorPlugUSBprogrammer.exe from Igor's website http://www.cesko.host.sk/IgorPlugUSB/IgorPlug-USB%20(AVR)_eng.htm to program and was successful upload firmware to AVR. But when I plug it to USB connector on windows xp sp2, it always shows message "Unknown Device" and i can't install driver for device.

Anyone can help me?
Thank for all.

Sorry for my English

same thing happens to me and I think I've found a solution on this page:
Explanation goes:
"If Windows XP or 2000, etc. just recognizes an "Unknown Device" instead of the proper USB Device name,
this can be a problem with the mainboard, which supports only 3.3 Volt at the data lines of the USB port.
To solve this failure, unsolder the data+ and data- USB cable (green and white or yellow and blue) and solder each with a approx. 70-120 Ohm resistor (e.g. brown-black-brown for 100 Ohm) to the PCB."

So it looks like we need to enhance our Igor USB IR...

But the strange thing was that once after fresh reinstall of WinXP, I've pluged and it worked like charm, requesting drivers and all... It seams that something is stealing power needed for proper functioning of an Igor USB...
