Here is an interesting one. I am finally getting around to instrumenting Girder in my NMS (network management system). The web server is fairly straight forward as its standard http. However, port 20005 is a bit more of a problem. While its easy enough to do basic TCP checks on a port, that does nothing to tell you if there is a working or zombie process behind it. My preference would be to submit a synthetic transaction but the protocol appears binary and proprietary. The NMS runs on Linux so csevent.exe is not an option. Is there a library for this interface or is the protocol documented?

TIA

Bump...

Any way to do a test on 20005?
