Hi, can I use Girder to control my TV, sat box and other devices using IR (com port) in my computer? :-? I really need that :)

Well if you put on a compatible IR device such as an Ocelot or Global Cache then yes you send out IR with Girder and even create 'macro' events to switch on everything in the proper order. Add Netremote and you can create a graphics interface (GUI) for any PC, Touchtablet or PPC and create a system that would rival ones costing thousands of dollars.

I use Girder 5 and Netremote 2 for my Now Playing 2008 skin that is a fully functional home automation system that also has a 6 independent zone whole house audio system.

I use the Ocelot for my IR needs which has a 16 IR zone module.
