Hello,

I have a slight comfort level with VB, but I am interested in learning lua to work with girder. Can anyone suggest any VB-lua sites that compare/contrast the 2 languages?

TIA

I'm not aware of any sites that cover that, but feel free to ask questions here.

Rob,

I appreciate the reply. I am looking at various code to get an understanding of lua. I have been using Marquis' MC12COM as a reference in trying to understand the syntax. My questions are more if the sytanx is girder, lua or Marquis specific. Unless there is a way to touch on specfic code and its usage, this will be long winded and not worth taking up your time.

TIA

The syntax will be pure Lua, but some of the functions called will be Girder specific.

Thanks Rob,

I am reviewing the code and it makes sense. There a just a few lines that I am trying to reason through. Is it OK to post specific questions regarding syntax of another user's plugin on these forums? If not, I will try to ask the question more globally.

TIA,

Yes, that's fine by me.
