Hi there;

What a great program! I've been looking for something like this for awhile, NR and NRD fit the niche perfectly.

The learning curve has been a few LONG nights, but I'm well on my way now. One thing I'm trying to do, maybe someone can help, is have a button on my screen to dim the screen. My touchscreen does not support the "turn display off" feature, so my plan is to set my Windows XP screensaver to blackout, and create a desktop shortcut to tha ppropriate .scr file.

Is there a way to get netremote to run that shortcut in the background?

You should be able to use an NRBasic action Execute Command from shell to do that. For some reason it's appearing here under "Unused/Deprecated Actions" - I need to check why that's happening - I suspect that should read "Unclassified/Deprecated Actions"

Perhaps you should change it to "Unappreciated Actions" Rob. ;)
