Hello folks,

I got a noname USB-IR-Receiver which Windows (XP Pro) recognized as Human Interface Device (HID). It receives my remote signals correctly and i am able to controll Winamp (for example) with my remote. But the receiver interprets the remote signals as keystroke. When i press a button on the remote to start Winamp it is the same as when i pressed a special key (shift for example). Then Winamp starts too. That's very annoying.

Do someone have an idea how i can install the receiver as a IR-Receiver and not as a HID?

Greetings
