View Full Version : Using USB-UIRT to learn IR commands for Global Cache

Hi Everyone,

I've looked through the forums and searced, but have not seen the answer to this one..

Rather than buying the expensive GC-IRL IR Learner, which captures IR codes for the Global Cache modules, could I use USB-UIRT (which I have), and girder? - I would then use the codes for two uses: 1)girder 2)this nifty solution for IPOD TOUCH:

and good youtube video using their software with Global Cache: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlNXpamDQ

Isn't this a question of copy and paste girder-captured IR codes, or does their GC IRL IR learner have exclusivity on this learning process??

Responses very welcome!

Did you ever get an answer to this?

I am looking into getting a Global Cache GC-100-12 and would love to know if you can use USB-UIRT to "learn" the IR codes.

If you found out, how did you do it?

Sorry that is not yet supported.
