Hi,

I am trying to build my own interface using Girder , Netremote and JRMC, and I am starting my design by using Marcel's gml. (Thank you !)

Everything seem to be working, but I cannot find MCIO.exe nowhere...:confused:

I tried the forums, the jriver forum, the old Meedio/myhtpc sites, Google, etc...
but I cannot find it.:confused::confused:

Is there something that replace it ? Or is anybody got a copy or know where to get one ?

You can PM me if necessary.

Thank you !

Z.

I don't think I even know what MCIO.exe is!

Marcel (mhwlng) is refering to it, in his threads and on his web site (look at his signature...)

I don't know if it is still the case, but in previous JRMC versions, you could only have one active COM connection, which is usually taken by mediabridge.

The MCIO plugin (not developed by me) is/was a workaround for that problem...

It's only used in my girder library file JRMC.lua

there are 2 functions

MCConnectComMCIO ()
MCServer = luacom.CreateObject ("MCIOServer.MediaCentreInsideOutServer.1")

and

MCConnectComDirect()
MCA = luacom.GetObject("MediaJukebox Application")

if you don't have MCIO, modify the JRMC.lua file, to try the direct function...

Of course, all this assumes that Girder & JRMC are running on the same pc....
