View Full Version : How to make lists longer (eg queue list)

Hi All,

Im creating a 480x800 remote based on the 480x640 MCE remote. All goed well, but what I do not understand is how I can make lists with eg album names longer. I can easily add a box for the new item, but it is not used.

So if I make 8 instead of 7 boxes, only the first 7 will get a value. I'm trying to see where this comes from and in e.g. the queue list I see a reference to GAC[8] and gacs[8] that I do not understand what this should mean. When I look in the GAC[8].count I see it has value 7 but U cannot see where it gets this value (I suppose that if I set it to 8 it will do what I want).

The userguide is not really helpful in understanding this. Anyone of you can give some guidance? In the end you will get an HTC Touch HD MCE remote with 480x800 resolution.

When you create the GAC in your .lua file you will have a line something like

mygacl = GAC:new{var='GACL',includeSubItemCount=1,imageSize ='S', fields='Album,Album Artist (auto)',count=20, useGP=1, };

The 'count' field there is the number of covers that it will display.

You can also call mygacl:SetCount(<number>) to change this value dynamically
