View Full Version : RF receiver for RF remotes?

Is there any computer connected device (like RFxcom for instance) that will receive RF signals from remotes like the One for All 9910? I am using this type of remote to control everything through the house, however I have to use a series of conversions (Original RF receiver station pointed towards a USB-UIRT module which then sends the signal to Girder). Everything works fine but I'm wondering if I could simplify things and minimize the possible points of failure.

Also, it would be great to have a device that decodes both the RF signal from my remotes + x10 signals from Motion+door sensors. ( I am currently using multiple X10 tm751 modules)

From my research the remote seems to be using 433Mhz signals but I haven't found any reference to someone using rfxcom or another device to replace the original base station

Finally if anyone has the RFxcom could you confirm what kind of reception range to expect as I want to get rid of multiple receivers and will be using my remote outdoors.
