I have prevously written some Visual Basic code that uses Interop.GIRDERXLib.dll to talk to Girder 4.
It works fine with Vista but not with Windows 7.

The code will not run until I remove the reference to Interop.GIRDERXLib.dll

Any chance of a Windows 7 version of the DLL?

That is probably a permissions problem. Can you elevate the permission level of your application?

Hi, I know the OP was some months ago but just for future reference..

I found that on win7 x64, in my vb project I had to go into "My Project > Compile > Advanced Compile Options > Target CPU" and set it to x86

As soon as I did this my app started communicating with Girder via Interop.GIRDERXlib.dll immediately, instead of throwing an exception.

Cheers,
