View Full Version : Three questions about the Flatsytle CCF

I've been heavily modifying the Flaystyle CCF to make my own theme and while looking at all the nuts and bolts of it I've run across a few things that have me stumped.

Question 1: On the library page, when viewing "Graphical Library Frame" I see this in NRD:

When I view this page in Netremote everything shows up except the last line:

{MP.GACL.Items[<LoopIndex>].Filename (path)}{MP.GACL.Items[<LoopIndex>].Filename (name)}I am a moron when it comes to the Lua stuff so should I be seeing something in NR here or is this something I don't need to worry about. I would assume that it should be displaying the file path and/or file name but I see nothing. This is what it looks like in NR for me:

Question 2: In the GAC code I have two questions. Here is the code in question:

mygacl = GAC:new{var='GACL',includeSubItemCount=0,imageSize ='X', fields='Album,Album Artist (auto)',count=20, useGP=1, Transform="Mirror:Y;Fade:Down;Height:33" };
mygacl:SetScheme(NetRemote.GetVariable('MP.AlbumRo ot'));
mygacl:SetClearOnChange(1);
NetRemote.SetVariable("MP.GACL.FolderImage", "d:\cd.png")What I am wondering is what do the last two lines do? and what is the cd.png image being referenced?

Nevermind on question 3, I figured it out.
Question 3: Another question regarding the Library page. There is a popup called "AlbumInfoFrame" that looks like this:

http://www.moesrealm.com/img/netremote/help03.png

For the life of me I can't figure out how to get this window to actually popup in Netremote while the theme is actually in use? Is this just an unused element or am I just not finding it?

Thanks!

You can forget question 3, I finally found the little bugger. If anyone else ever has the same problem I did you need to click the album cover when you are in the list view (thought I had tried that before).

I would still like to know the answers t o my other questions though.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the Flatstyle CCF made by Promixis? Can no one answer my questions over there? It's been nearly two weeks since I asked what I think are not that difficult of questions. Isn't the forum the place for support, is this the level of support one should expect from Promixis these days?

I can answer part of #2

Here is a thread on FolderImage. It is used to show a default image if no CD cover is available for example.

As for the support.... up till recent it has been excellent. The guys must be busy doing something....

Sorry, must have missed this somehow.

Q1: That looks like a bug to me - not quite sure where yet though.

Q2: SetClearOnChange(1) will be telling GAC+ that when the display is updated, e.g. if you page up or down, it will set the Type field for each item to -1 to let the CCF know that it is not to be displayed. The cd.png is the default folder image that will be displayed if there is no other art available for a given folder (e.g. album or artist).

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you.

I kind of figured that cd.png was for albums with no covers. But my confusion now is I have no image named cd.png where the CCF is pointing to it "d:\cd.png" nor do I have one in my documents folder where netremote puts the CCF files nor is there one in my Netremote install directory. Is this cd.png image not included with the CCF?

I'm not sure why that file was not included, probably an oversight. You can easily supply your own graphic and change the path in the .lua file accordingly.
