View Full Version : Getting Slider Values into Girder

February 5th, 2010, 05:48 PM

I've managed to get my level commands to work with x10 in Girder, and I can send a level command directly to my x10 hardware through the device manager and the light will respond. I am, however, having problems getting NetRemote to send a level value to Girder. I have linked the slider to the variable: Automation-PC\X10\A2\Level and whenever I turn the light on or off, the slider goes from one end to the other, indicating a level of 100 or 0, so there is no problem there. Through searching and reading I decided to register the above variable for feedback in my onloadCCF function with this code:

But this still has not worked. Could anyone please point me in the right direction and let me know what I need to do to get this to work. I assume that every time the slider is moved, it should generate an event within girder, but I am not having this happen at all, I'm all out of Ideas.

It's ok.

I Figured it out, For anyone else that ever has a problem:

In your LUA File you need the following two lines to make everything work:

require 'DMSupport'

That's it, everything just works now :)

Oh and your example will work if you double up the '\' in that string.
