View Full Version : Variable Watch Startup Error

If I start Netremote this line of code gives me an error:

local INPUT1_1 = NetRemote.RegisterVariableWatch('YAMAHA_LS9.INPUT. 1.1', NetRemote.GetPlugin("Girder"):GetCurrentInstance())

bad argument #1 to 'RegisterVariableWatch' (Invalid object type for parameter)

this does not happen if I send the CCF from the designer to NetRemote

So if NetRemote is running and the ccf is loaded with File/Open it does work, but it doesn't on netremote startup

I'm having almost the exact same problem... I have a volume slider which I use to control my receiver. When I launch NR, the slider doesn't work. If I go to File, Open... and reload the same CCF, it starts working. It's like it won't register the variable on startup which makes no sense.

Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it??

I wonder if this is a timing problem? I'd suggest introducing some delay before registering the variable watch to see if that resolves it.
