No support through PM

if not I have no choice but to move on as I now own a few Z-wave devices including a Schlage lock and I can't controll it using Girder.

Thanks

Besides having to buy and ELK or Vera2/3 or HS is there any other way to get girder to use Zwave so I can control my thermostat and lock?

My first post did not get many replies :(

Use xPLZwave (http://www.xplmonkey.com/zwave.html) with xPLGirder (http://www.thijsschreijer.nl/blog/?page_id=507). Until someone ties the OpenZwave library (http://www.openzwave.com/) into Girder.

The question is does it support the Aeon Zstick? I'm new to Zwave and from what I read xplzwave is based on the control stick

xplzwave requires the controlthink sdk, for which you need to buy a license, 60-70 $ iirc, and that includes the compatible usb stick. If you're stuck on your hardware, then your best bet is openzwave, but it still needs the integration in Girder. Openzwave does support the Aeon (http://code.google.com/p/open-zwave/wiki/Controller_Compatibility_List).

I just found out that I would have to purchase a different hardware to be able to use xpl Z-wave and I already own the Aeon Labs Stick 2.

Are you saying that xpl zwave can use the openzwave library instead of the controlthink sdk and still work with my hardware?

I'm confused :(

No it won't. Back to my first repsonse; you'll have to wait for someone to tie OpenZwave and Girder together.

For some reason I cannot find an answer regarding if the controlthink usb dongle supports the Schalge lock set or the Trane thermostat before I go dumping more $$$ on a new zwave usb controller
