Hi, I would like Girder to take some actions based on different email content .. any easy (or not) way to do it ?

So far, I've read that post http://www.promixis.com/forums/showthread.php?4252-Controlling-Girder-via-e-mail

trying to put in place the scripting but won't work ...

So far, I've installed getmail, which download the email into files (first email goes to MSG1.txt then MSG2.txt)

The content of email from my alarm system looks like this
---------------------
From your Paradox internet module
Site: Your Paradox System
Message: Arming
Partition: 1 - Area 1
By: System Master
Time: 10 Oct 2012 19:18
---------------------

A movement detection from my cameras woiuld send me a email with "00A8F8009EBE(En Haut) motion alarm at 19691231183026
" as subject ...

So I would like to create an event on both subject or body of the email ...

Thank you for your help !

can you upload an example of each of the events you wish to detect?

Not sure I understand you question ... What I would like to happen (hopefully I will answer your question) is call a program (such as getmail refered in the link above) which download email and put it in a text file, parse the email and make an event (based on the email content) so an action can be taken ... I hope that clarifies it .
