Hi,
I'm creating a sleep timer in girder and I'm wondering is simple timer the best/only option available? It seems to work and it doesn't seem to slow down or lockup girder like wait would so I'm assuming this is the best route to go. I had thought there might be an easy way to use the scheduler programmatically but after further research I don't believe this is the case.

If this is the best route and Ron if you read this could you please increase the field length for milliseconds to allow for a longer value? I cannot enter 2 hours in there (14400000 milliseconds) and I'm wanting to go up to 4 hours or so.

Thanks,
Casey

So far Simple Timer has worked very well for a sleep timer. Does anyone know where I can access the variable which holds the remaining time? I would like to update my controls each minute for user reference.

Thanks,
Casey

That is currently not exposed to Lua. I can add it to my todo list.

The next Girder release will include the lua function to query a simple timer.

Thanks Ron, I appreciate it. Could you also increase the field length of the delay by one? This way I can get up to 4 hours in there.

Thanks,
Casey
