View Full Version : How to create a nice menu with HTMLosd

November 7th, 2002, 10:41 AM
I've created a small group implementing a menu using the HTMLosd. This allows a lot of customization and a nice design (especially when using a background image)

The menu can be called by one IR-Key.
Two other keys allow navigation.

This code should even allow full-graphics-menus without too much changes.

As indicated in the first post, the used structure allows the usage of images within the menu as well.

This is Version II featuring three independent variants:

1.) Text-only with optional background image

2.) Text with icon for each entry with optional background image

3.) Full graphical

The download contains all there versions, sample images and exported groups.

Any comments would be very much appreciated!

I am new to girder and I played just a little bit with it around. I got a good impression. :)

I'm trying now to create a menu to start programs and saw some pictures of HTMLosd. It seems that this is the right solution for me.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any documentation or faq for it.
I hope, someone can help me with this and give me a information where I can find a documentation or give me some tips how I can learn to create a menu with HTMLosd.

Thanks for your help in advance! :D

I found the files in http://www.girder.nl/filesbb/files/

I am impressed with this example. Does anybody know how to send Girder Ievent-Calls in the (action=='execItem') part? Unfortunately my knowledge of javascript and html is very limited :(

http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php?Link=433 has the HTML OSD and some examples, others are on the board, search for HTML OSD.

Plugins that are not part of the standard distribution can be found at http://www.girder.nl/plugins.php
