I guess I should probably export a GML file or something, but for now here's a list of the various messages you can send to Windows Media Player 9.0 using Command/Command. The numbers listed are the WParam. The LParam is always 0.

The only real interesting one is 84357, File Properties 2 (or that's what I call it anyway), which brings up a dialog box showing info about the audio stream that I don't think you can get with any menu option.

I haven't found a way to switch playlists directly, which is what I was looking for. Oh well. I searched from about 84200 to about 84600 and documented when I noticed a change.

The 16000-16007 I found by doing a capture from Remote Selector, which is what I was using prior to setting up Girder.

It also responds to commands in the 32xxx range, such as 32808 as Play/Pause. I haven't explored this range, but I think they are there to be backward compatible with 7.0/8.0. If anybody has found any more, please post them here.

Do these work in toolbar mode? Also, I noticed skin mode and full mode, but no Fullscreen mode.

Other then that, I think you Hit a gold mine!!

/me starts uninstalling zoomplayer

I think Ill wait a day or two for a GML, and if none shows Up, Ill make my own :P

I didn't find anything that put it into fullscreen mode, but you could probably bind that to keyboard Alt-Enter.

I probably won't make a gml file, as I don't have all these implemented, I was just playing and was changing the same command over and over to test them.

I tried it and it doens't seem to work. Does it work in Skin mode?

They should all work in Skin Mode, but some of them are specific to certain areas. For instance, attempting to bring up the column select dialog while in Now Playing locks up Media Player. It only works in Media Library.

Can you make a gml file for one of those? I really can't seem to get it to work. I've even tried the sendmessage plugin with no luck?

Okay..finally figured it out but i have some problems.

Full screen toggle is wparam - 18782. It toggles full screen for a second and then media player just kind of exits it and goes back to normal. This happens when i use ALT + RETURN (alt proc.) too! HELP!

Also, to toggle audio channels
19761 - Both channels
19762 - Left Channel
19763 - Right Channel

Well, stupid me! The full screen only works when the video is playing. All fine now! thanks!

you listed all the WPARAMS and LPARAMS (0 I understand) but what message is to be sent with those params?
Since no one asked it I probably missed something..

thanx

He uses the "Command" action from the "Command" tab. This one has no message number (it's hardwired to WM_COMMAND).

Is there a code to make wmp play the cd/dvd in the default drive?

We quite often have it playing tv progs while we settle down to watch a film, so it would be handy as i haven't set up mouse control due to a lack of spare buttons...
