I've tried 2 different remotes. They all learn fine, standard cable tv type remotes.

When I click a button, it seems to send the 1 stroke key command 1 to 9 times!

I know there must be a way to set 'debounce' so same cmd rcvd within x msecs is ignored.....

I would have searched, but searched for debounce and found nothing.

Thanks
Phil

it gets wierder....

I found and started playing with the 'wait x millisecs', etc.

It did not work, so I put it back. Now the ir command does not hit the key. I watcvh the led on the uirt box for most keys flashes as you hit a key, for this key I tried to modify, the light stays on for 2-3 seconds, no keystroke sent.

So, I deleted the command, and readded it, now it flashes like the rest, but it does not send the keystroke, and it is set

Another question, what is 'alternate proc' for sending keystrokes? I need to set that for any of them to work.

Well, I got it to work using Antirepeat delay

It took a antirepeat of 300ms to make it work reliably

Is every remote/repeat different?

Philhu,

Yes, different remote protocols will repeat at different rates.
