Although not directly a Girder-related tip, I suspect many Girder owners use Slink-e, and vice-versa. In any case, it took me a while to come up with a CDE (device) file that allowed me to switch inputs on the Sony pre-amp. I used some existing files that I found on the web, and had to do some trial and error to figure out the other ones. In any case, hopefully my effort will not have to be duplicated by other users!

Here is the file:

# Sony S-link commands for the AV Amp
name=ampsls

type=SLINK

#Device ID's:

prefix=10000000
suffix=

# the message codes:
# letters in the codes indicate to the software that this is a variable region

d:test # this is a test code
# you can test anything with this code by putting hex in brackets
# e.g. test[500304] will play disc 3 track 4
