Am in need of a SINGLE code for a Sony Receiver that will select the DVD input on the front of the receiver. All universal remotes that I have are able to select several of the inputs, except for the DVD one (arghhh)....

I'm trying to get this code to be broadcast out by USB-UIRT (Jon Rhees version) via Girder. I can learn the other inputs such as SAT, RADIO, VIDEO1, but for the sake of me, I can't figure out DVD or how to even proceed.

Does anyone have a "Select DVD/LD Input" on a Sony Receiver that is being broadcasted out by the USB-UIRT plugin through Girder.

If so, please post code that one would enter into the plugin for transmitting. Thank you.

I wonder if you can find this code on remote central then cut and paste it into the usb uirt plugin?

I've been all over that site, and cannot find the code that I need - that's why I'm reaching out here. If anyone, anyone has the DVD/LD Select Input code in the USB-UIRT plugin for Girder (this is the code that the plugin learns, then is capable of transmitting it), please simply copy and paste it.

I suspect any Sony Receiver will work. Thank you very much.

Could you please post your RAW USB-UIRT code for your VIDEO1 command. Then I might be able to compute the needed DVD code.

Thank you, but Jon Rhees was kind enough to post his DVD input selector on his forum (turns out he has a Sony Receiver). Here was the code that I could record for selecting the TV INPUT:

01EF17300C0C000B1744144000000000000000000000000000

Here's the code that I was missing for selecting the DVD/LD Input (I didn't have the remote control since this was a demo model that I bought and they didn't have the remote - plus no universal remotes were picking up this code):

050017310A0B00180C04401500000000000000000000000000

Vastly different from what I can tell. The code works from Jon, so I'm almost 100% complete with config for my HTPC. Thanks guys.
