I've searched the forums and found conflicting responses.

Can someone please confirm/deny/clarify the following statement:

If I only know how to code in VB6 or VB.NET, I will be wasting my time with the Girder API and/or plug-ins as it is not compatible with those languages, nor are there any plans to make it compatible.

I believe that is true and will stay true in the future. The plugin interface exposes things that VB and VB.net don't understand.

EDIT: Having said that, Girder exposes a COM object you can use to send it events from an outside application. There are also plugins that interface to the network, RS-232, etc. technologies that would allow you to send data between your application and Girder.
