    Default "Weather.com" Converted Script for G4 / LUA 5

    Hi All,

I have just converted my weather parsing script to lua 5, main reason was to avoid breakages during the change over from G3.3 to G4 and using the new weather stuff which is available in G4.

As I know a fair few people use it here it is. Good luck!

It should require no changes in NR, so is essentially "Plug n' Play"...

    Update 24 August 2005

Drop all the files & folders into the G4 folder maintaining the directory structure in the zip. Then goto Settings and enter what you need, followed by apply.

Even if you don't need to change any settings still apply, as this will write the valus to the registry.

    Then Restart G4.

Don't forget you will also require the Threaded Netremote Feedback file.

See the Variable inspector to see the list of data

    Update 1st October

Updated to allow for the new and improved treescript changes. Which broke the settings page.

You will need to delete in the G4 folder "Plugins\UI\Dans Weather - Config.xml"

    Update 2nd November

Fix to the missing Condition labels in the forcast section.

Also... I hope improved the thread bit...

    Update 10 November 2005

Fixed problem with not displaying current conditions temperatures correctly.

    Thanks Dan
Looks like a lot of work went into it, so thanks so much.
I guess I have to copy the files to the appropriate directories & change the lua files
to put my partner id, license key & location in.
I will give it a go tonight.

    Kind regards
