So we need to do 2 things to this.

    1. Right now it just modifiies stuff coming in, we want to inject IRPs.
    2. Communication with Girder. This can be done through virtual files, like under unix.

Have a look at this page!! This gives us all the details on how to do point 2 with source code.

I wish I had the driver books here, they are still in arizona, will pick them up next week.

Hey, is Ctrl2Cap not a kernel-mode driver that runs in ring 0?

Maybe our version of ctrl2cap can talk to the ports...

Well, I grabbed a copy of the portTalk source code. There must be a way of mashing this code together with Ctrl2Cap to get it to do what we want...

The MSDN document seems worth investigating as well... the puzzle pieces are coming together!

by low-level i did mean ring 0. To be able to inject keyboard events into Windows we'll have to use a ring 0 filter driver. I assume that using DeviceIoControl for comminicating from G to the driver will be the easiest. This last part you can see how is done in the porttalk driver.

Sorry -- the paying jobs are banging on the door -- I need a little time before I can poke around with this. I haven't given up yet!

Hi guys, its five years since the last update on this thread.

Did you know when this feature will be implemented on Girder? This feature is non existent on any other automatition tool and is very useful when dealing with directx applications.

On my part, Im only waiting for this feature before I swith from Eventghost to Girder.

I wish you all luck on this!

    Cheers.
