Default "Error: Access Violation at 0x7C928FEA" on shutdow

    Hi,

I'm still having "Error: Access Violation at 0x7C928FEA (tried to write to 0x00000010)" from Girder on shutdown. This is really an issue as it prevents me from shutting down the PC when the projector is off (can't see why Windows does not shutdown).

I had that problem with Betas but sounds like it disappeared with RCx. It's now back with FCS.

    Any thought?

I must admit I am relunctent to do a complete uninstall as this will kill my iMON remote configuration.

    Jacques.-

PS - happy festive season :P

    Hi,

Can you disable the iMon plugin and see if this still happens?

Unfortunately it does. Menu File > Exit works great. It only crashes when the system is brought down.

Simply booting and shutting down right after will cause the problem.

Will try to uninstall/reinstall to see if it fixes. Is there any way to backup the mappings of the remote control?

Just uninstalled everything and wiped the Promixis folder out.

I reinstalled G4.0.0 but still have the same problem, even with 100% vanilla, no plugins added and no GML file loaded

    Any thought?

Try emptying out the luascripts as well see if that lets you startup.
    Thx, Dan

What do you mean by "emptying out the luascripts"? Do you mean once the G4 install has finished?

I renamed luascript folder to luascript.old which I guess should have the same effect. G4 starts up correctly, but still have the same behaviour when shutting down the system... Again, File > Exit works fine.

Really weird... Am I gonna have to reinstall Windows ?
