    I'm still waiting for my device. :cry:
    They have to wait for their new shipment because they shipped back a bunch of PLC 1.1 units to get the 1.6s.
    Sorry it's taking me so long to give you some feedback on your plugin; I know you're probably on the edge of your seat axiously awaiting my input. :wink:

    Default Sending X10 Commands from LUA

    Plugin is working great, thanks for all your work. I had a little trouble getting Girder to talk to the controller, but it seems to be running smoothly now. I autodetected all of my Insteon modules, and seems to control my remaining X10 appliances better than the 1132U.

    However, can anyone tell me how to send an X10 command from LUA using the Powerlinc? I can use the tree scripts, but I'd rather do it from code rather than trigger girder events for every possible X10 command. It looks like the command would be in the form of Insteon:SendX10 [ , , ] but I can't figure out how the arguments are structured. Is there any documentation for these commands?

    Glad to hear its working well

    Insteon.SendX10 (housecode,unitcode,functioncode)

    -- standard list of x10 function codes
    local FunctionCodes = {
    "ALL UNITS OFF",
    "ALL UNITS ON",
    "ON",
    "OFF",
    "DIM",
    "BRIGHT",
    "ALL LIGHTS OFF",
    "EXTENDED CODE",
    "HAIL REQUEST",
    "PRESET DIM HIGH",
    "PRESET DIM LOW",
    "EXTENDED DATA",
    "STATUS ON",
    "STATUS OFF",
    "STATUS REQUEST",
    }

    However, to make sure the X10 device manager (if you are using it) can track device status, I would use

    X10:Send (hc,uc,fc)

    It will can the first x10 provider it can find (ie. it will use insteon, or any other x10 plc it finds)

    You may want to check over at cocoontech. I think I read about someone looking at modifying the devices :-?

    I'm still waiting for my hardware. :evil:
    I had to cancel my original order because it took longer than 2 weeks to ship, and placed one with SmartHome. Now my shipment is stuck in Illinois or somewhere waiting to clear customs at some place called "BorderFree".
    I hope I don't miss the boat on the Beta testing. I've been waiting for a month!!!
