Thread: MPC 6.4.9.0 GML not working

Cool MPC 6.4.9.0 GML not working

    Hi,

Ever since I updated to Windows Media Player Classic 6.4.9.0, Girder stopped functioning for media player classic. I realized I have to update the .gml so I deleted the old one and then went to software updates, where I saw the .gml for the newer MPC and it downloaded and apperead on the main page. However, I still can't control media player classic.

    Please help,

    Flaviu

It works ok for me. The group has a windows conditional on it, also make sure the node is enabled. I think the is a mode enable in the gml which is based on a condition.

Ok I figured it out but not completely. The button events were assigned to the event device "4004" and when I did a learn, it correctly detected "ATi Remode Wonder Plus", and now it works. HOWEVER, my other gml's have "Predefined Events (all remotes)" and they work like that. This GML won't work if I select that though, just ATi Remote Wonder Plus. Why is that?

EDIT: NEVERMIND...still doesn't work. The only thing I was able to make work was to open MPC when pressing a button.

EDIT2: Ok I got it working. I did a pick window for the conditional, and unchecked the "name" and it worked.

EDIT3: What's bothering me now is that the switch to fullscreen function is gone

EDIT4: Controls DO NOT work in fullscreen unless I move the mouse down until mpc's controls popup...wtf.

I deleted the windows conditional and the same thing happens. Full screen controls (like play, pause, next, etc) don't work unless I move the mouse over MPC's actual controls at the bottom until they popup.

If I then go to girder and see the last comment at the bottom, it says "cannot find window".

I tried it but it seems like this is the one for the older mpc not 6.4.9.0 and I can't get it to work at all.

Ah, I have just tried this with the latest version, I seem to have two different versions on my HTPC and Dev Machine.

Looks like the Wparam has changed. You will need to capture these again for play it is 887, pause is 888, play/pause is 889
    Thx, Dan

Here is a completely updated version to Suit the latest MPC 6.4.9 onwards.

I don't know why they changed all the commands...
