Default Using Winamp - but can't see any of my playlists!!

I use the netremote 2.0.0.98. I have the mediabridge installed and using Winamp as my mediaplayer. The netremote is installed on my PPC that I have connected with bluetooth through activesync.

On my PPC I can access the Media Library (album, artist, genre) with no problems. But there is nothing under Playlists!! And I have generated a lot of playlists in Winamp Media Library.

Before I shifted to netremote, I used RemoteAmp - a program that is less advanced. But the good thing was, that the playlists generated in Winamp, I was able to access with RemoteAmp with no problem.

So what am I doing wrong?

Not really sure, but can you confirm which version of WinAmp you're using?

I don't believe we are pulling playlists back from WinAmp, but I'll investigate.

Did you find out if the playlists from winamp are supported or not?

    Thanks in advance

I am also experiencing this issue. Are Winamp playlists supported? If so, do you have any advice as to what to do to see them? If not are there any plans to do support them in a future release? If not is a workaround possible?

    They're not directly supported.

    Here's a workaround:

    1. In MediaBridge, and a "File Path" to where your .m3u files are stored. Make sure you add .m3u to the "pattern" match.
    2. In NetRemote, open the file path to the playlists, and do a "play" from there.

    Here's another workaround....

Get a proper media player like JRMC and migrate all your playlists to that.

OpusNR & JLee CCF/GML available in the downloads section.

JLee, that workaround would be valid if Winamp support was not a currently-listed feature!
