Default Switched to JRMC - cant get it to work

    Hi Guys

I just switched from Windows Media Player to JRMC. And I am having problems.

When I do my initial request to MB I get return the root folder with Video Images and Audio.

    I changed my code from

    Code:
    NetRemote.SetVariable('MP.AlbumsRoot',"Media Library\\Albums")
    to

    Code:
    NetRemote.SetVariable('MP.AlbumsRoot',"Media Library\\Audio\\Album")
I have attached my LUA file and CCF. What do I need to do to make it go straight to Audio like I did in Windows Media Player.

    Thanks

I haven't looked at your code as I dom't have time right now, but I run a script on a page change to set the root of my mediabridge library to Audio or Video depending on the page being loaded.

The line that switches to audio is
    Code:
    NetRemote.ExecuteAction(-10,3,0,'Media Library\\Audio')
Not sure if this is the best way to do it, but it works for me.

Just check your schemes in JRiver (click on the 'audio' icon on the right, if you see 'start', 'playing now' etc under it click it again). Is your albums scheme called 'album' or 'albums'?
    XP + G4 + Lua = :)

So it turns out that I needed the following line

    Code:
    NetRemote.SetVariable('MP.AlbumsRoot',"Media Library\\Audio\\Artists/Album")
But having done that. The performance in requesting data from JRMC to NetRemote is much slower than I was getting using Windows Media Centre.

I have JRMC and Girder deployed on an older laptop with the following specs

    P3 1.14GHz 512MB Ram

The Music Files are also on a network share. Could the combination of network share and low spec machine be causing the slow down???
