    Default Overriding SaveSettings

I am using the Components.Classes.DeviceItemsContainer class for a plug-in I am writing. I do not want to save the devices that are collected through Girder restarts.

Can I override the SaveSettings routine and set the Settings.Items table to nil?

Another question came to mind. I also want the Device Manager to forget they existed as well. Possible?

For the first, I think you can probably get away with setting the ConfigFile property to false or nil.

For the second question - you may be able to do this by overriding the device's GetPropertiesToSave() method and returning an empty table, and also by setting its DoNotUseSavedDeviceInfo property to false.
