    Hi guys!

    It seems that temperature sensors of my WHR950 are faulty.. (or maybe I did not understand what temperature are).
    Is one of you able to explain me what are T1, T3 and T4?
    Insuflated new air from outdoor
    Insuflated new air to indoor
    Extracted bad air from indoor
    Extracted bad air to outdoor

    Thanks a lot
    Ted

    Hi,

    Although this tread is quite old, I hope somebody is still reading it. My question is a bit off-topic, but this is the only source of information I could find on the internet.

    I try to hook up my storkair WHR950 (v1.00) to Domoticz, but the protocol description (htt p: // ww w.see-solut ions.de/sonst iges/Protok ollbesch reibung_Comf oAir.pd f) is not correct for this unit. The code posted by VSDomoticz seems to be correct. My unit also works fine with the maintenance SW posted here. If I sniff the comm port communication I see the following commands come by:

    Code:
    07	F0	00	83	00	30	07	0F
    07	F0	00	85	00	32	07	0F  --> Query temperatures (looking at VSDomoticz code)
    07	F0	00	87	00	34	07	0F  --> Query Ventilators (looking at VSDomoticz code)
    07	F0	00	87	00	34	07	0F
    07	F0	00	89	00	36	07	0F  --> Query Parameters 1(looking at VSDomoticz code)
    07	F0	00	8B	00	38	07	0F  --> Query Parameters 2(looking at VSDomoticz code)
    07	F0	00	8F	00	3C	07	0F
    07	F0	00	91	00	3E	07	0F
    07	F0	00	96	00	43	07	0F
    07	F0	00	98	00	45	07	0F
    07	F0	00	9A	00	47	07	0F
    07	F0	00	9C	00	49	07	0F
    07	F0	00	C9	00	76	07	0F
    Now my question is: does somebody have a full protocol description for my unit, so I can use that to implement communication in Domoticz.

    Kind regards,

    Bastiaan

    HI Bastiaan,

    you write that the protocol description is not correct for this unit. How do you know that.

    as far as I know this protocol is implemented on

    Brands: JE StorkAir, Zehnder, Comfo Air, Wernig
    Models: WHR 920, WHR 930, WHR 950, WHR 960, ComfoD 250, ComfoD 350, ComfoD 450, ComfoD 550, ComfoAir 350, ComfoAir 550, ComfoAir SL 330, ComfoAir 200, ComfoAir 180 and ComfoAir 200. Compatible with the use of the ComfoCool or Arctic module.
    functions with both Base & Luxe units

    so let me know.

    It is quite old but you can control and read everything possible.
    I currently have only 1 laptop with a RS232 port attached and it is unfortunately running Win10

    The version wich VSDomotics posted here is not running under Win10.

    does anyone know if there is an update for this program?

    Many thanks for you response. I know that because I tried some of the commands described in "Protokollbeschreibung_ComfoAir.pdf" but get no response of the unit. The commands that I sniffed from the communication of the official tool don't match the protocol description. For example the command used to query temperatures:
    Code:
    07	F0	00	85	00	32	07	0F
    Would mean according to the protocol description:
    Start (2 byte): 07 F0
    Command (2 byte): 00 85
    Nr of data fields (1 byte): 00
    Checksum (1 byte): 32
    End (2 byte): 07 0F

    But command 00 85 doesn't exist in the protocol description.. There quiry temperatures is command 00 D1

    See my point?

    Hope you can help,

    Bastiaan

    so you sniffed 00 85 and the protocol description states 00 D1.

    yeah that is extremely strange, but it seems to work for many faulks.
