Finally got sky installed so now i can finish this little project up!

Massive thanks to RobH for writing the serial lua & solosid for gods knows how much testing, Cheers gents!

I've attached a rough ccf to provide the functions, serial lua & gml - It all works on its own, you shouldn't have to do anything except press the buttons in the ccf....

(exept for dropping the lua into the plugins/serial folder & att a comms port)

Thought i'd better add this minor oversight to the thread...

The audio output from the sky box is at a fixed level. This means that if, like me, you want to control the level feeding your amp rather than the amp speaker/volume output level, your stuffed.

However, I found a 'handy lickle gizmo' that allows this via IR. Its another kit from Velleman and requires some competent use of a soldering iron to complete. But for under £25 vs £200 for a branded jobby - Who's complaining..?

    Anyhoo, see the links....
Velleman Kit MK164 Line Level Controller
RC Forums IR Hex codes (should work with usb uirt?)

I'll let you know if i end up with 3rd degree burns, but more importantly if it works or not...
