We are currently very very deep in Z-Wave development. After that is the RFX plugin. Then we're porting the HAI Omni and X10 plugins from G5.

Since the Insteon plugin is Mike's baby we'll give him first shot at it if he wants, otherwise we'll add it to the list.

And of course if Mike wants to have a crack that it, our long standing policy is that major contributors get a free license.

it is something i'll look at it.

you are welcome to have the HAI Omnilink II and Insteon code base if you need.

i haven't had much time to look at G6 - i do like what i have seen.

is there a common device pool via the device manager or has that gone away?

The devices are internally stored in a datatabase. All plugins have access to this by way of messages, not directly (for the most anyway). This is done so that device manager objects can live outside of the main processes yet stay in sync with the main database. There are a few plugins in the lua directory that show how it's done. I'm happy to explain anything that is not clear for those.

If you'd like to share your code base with us that is great.

Is there any timeframe for Insteon support in G6?

I was just wondering if you have any kind of timeline for thus. It's the only thing I'm waiting on before trying it out. TYSM

First up is the RFXCom part. Which is coming along nicely. After that we're back to the Insteon code. But unfortunately I don't have a timeline. We're working as fast as we can go.
