when can we expect linux varsion of Girder 6?

As soon as Girder 6 goes gold and ZWave is finished, unless I get inspired (and energy) to work on the Linux build. Do you have any specific version of Linux in mind? (as you know Linux is not Linux)

I would like to run Girder on Rasperry PI, so it is A Debian wheezy port, optimised for the Raspberry Pi.

Too bad compiling Girder + libraries takes about a day on the Raspi, assuming all configuration options were set correctly the first time.

Girder on a Raspberry pi or on a Synology would be great.

I use the raspberry for a low energy system that’s always on and connect to the network. There is a RaZberry Z-Wave print for Raspberry PI or use the usb cm15 module to connect to X10 modules.

Ron, does that mean that You did some tests running Girder on Raspi. Maybe we could give it a try.

I've done some tests mostly trying to get a good build environment setup. At that time Qt 5.0 wasn't final yet so things were,.... well,... very rocky.

Let me see if I can squeeze a build in this week.

Spent half the day getting Qt 5.2 compiled for the Raspi. Looks like basic Qt is compiling fine,.. just fighting with the webkit built now... after that the Girder build....
