Default Does Girder 6 have event.exe

I've got a new question - I used to trigger a lot of actions in Girder from other programs using event.exe which doesn't seem to be in G6. How can I do that in 6?

    Thanks

I've tried it and I get "Could not connect". Here's the string I'm trying to run at the command line: "C:\Program Files\Promixis\Girder 6\csevent.exe" Touchsmart 20005 girder Play 18 -silent

Are the parameters the same as they were for G5?

the default port number is 1024, check that you match the port number.

OK that works but there's a 9 second delay from the sending of the command to Girder acting on it. Any way to shorten it up?

One alternative is to use the HTTP server,... that should be fast.

Could I use that from the command line?

OK - looking over wget, it looks like I could call it from the command line and it would pass the command to Girder using the HTTP server, right?
