I am not sure if this forum is still watched but I'll give it a try.

Without a reason on one PC the NetRemote.GetPersistentVariable command does not work anymore.
The registry-value is not read anymore.

I tried first writing 123 to 'Test' and then reading it
I use this code
Code:
NetRemote.SetPersistentVariable("Test",123)
print(NetRemote.GetPersistentVariable("Test"))

The test registry is written nice. But reading gives 'nil'.

Sysinternals Registry Monitor says
Code:
53.38663483	NetRemote.exe:5756	OpenKey	\SOFTWARE\Promixis\NetRemote\PersistentVariables	PATH SYNTAX BAD
53.38672638	NetRemote.exe:5756	CreateKey	HKCU\SOFTWARE\Promixis\NetRemote\PersistentVariables	SUCCESS	Access: 0x2000000
53.38795090	NetRemote.exe:5756	SetValue	HKCU\SOFTWARE\Promixis\NetRemote\PersistentVariables\Test	SUCCESS	"123"

I tried reinstalling, disabling viruscheck etc., but nothing helps.

The machine is running Windows XP Pro SP# with latest patches.

Who has an idea?
