Default Plugin for TCP Lighting Gateways

Ok I hope that someone else here will be able to use this as the tcp LED and CFL are good bulbs and work very well once you get rid of the app they include.

place tcplighting folder in zip in girder lua folder instructions in the plugin.lua file

    Manufacture website http://www.tcpi.com/connected-by-tcp/
The plugin should work in windows and RaspPi

    issues with v0.9
only toggles on/off dimming will be added soon.

    V1.0 updates
Dimming now works and cuts off bulbs at 0%

    Coming Soon:

No need to match name and location

    Enjoy,

I have had no issues and the range is great. I wish they had daylight versions of the bulbs but at the price per bulb I can't complain to much. I nice thing about them over the x10 switches I was using is they report there status to the gateway every 30 sec so if a light gets left on it is updated and you know if you look at it when away from home it eliminates the guessing. Now if they would make outlets or appliance modules

yonu, thank you very much for this plugin... I'm struggling to get it setup correctly the device manager; admittedly, I'm new to Girder6 so I may not be getting general concepts correct, but I can usually pick things up pretty fast. That said... could you put together a little more detailed set of instructions for getting my TCP Gateway setup in Girder? I'd be very grateful.

    Thanks,
    Terry

I was actually able to work it out in the Lua code. A video or step-thru might be able to help someone else, though, so thank you!
Thanks again for the plugin work.

hey anyone running a TCP gateway and controling with anything but the actual TCP app block the gateway from accessing the internet they put out an update sometime in the last week that disables the http and ssh interfaces to the gateway.

    Thanks,
