    Default CM11A Preset Dim Commands

    Ron,

Can this be included in the CM11A code?

    Code:
    Preset Dim Support

The control supports sending and receiving the X10 preset dim command. Both X10 commands preset dim1 and preset dim 2 (commands 10 and 11) are treated the same. You can send either command, and the control will choose which command to send based in the "brightness" level given. Note that the brightness value for the X10 "bright" and "dim" commands is given in %, while the "brightness" level given for the preset dim command is in the range 0-31. This gives the user precise control over the brightness sent to a device supporting preset dim. This also allows for easier programming of devices that use the preset dim command for controlling device functions other than brightness. To convert the dim level % to a preset dim level, simply use the formula:

    (dim% /100)*32

When a preset dim command is received, the "extra" parameter is the actual preset dim level in the range of 0-31. To convert it to %, use the formula:

    (preset dim value/32)*100

No update I'll see if I can put that in. I have nothing to test this against, so we might have to do a few back-and-forwards.

    Ron,

Thanks for the update. Sorry I did not look at this sooner, work got in the way. At first glance, the specs indicate preset dim 1 & 2 have 31 steps, the included action only includes 22. The lua command, per the variable inspector, appears to be presetDi,.

Fixed the maximum steps to 31. I've attached the 64 bit build for the latest Girder.

The action now allows me to step to 31, however when I save and reopen the value is 22. Also the Lua command is still presetDi,

What is the format to call cm11a.presetDim?
