    Default Problem leaning "Feller beam it"

    With PIR-1 I try to learn Feller beam it. I just receive a lot of 0000 and a strange image of the scan with 0 Hz instead of 447k (I tryed different distances - bad result; With other remote signals form DVD player, it just works fine).

    I checked on remotecentral and found a kind of explanation.

    Unfortunately non of them worked.
    Is there a way to get this done?
    Many thanks!

    Is the modulation frequency of that remote 447kHz? Yeah that might be tricky with the current way the PIR-1 tries to learn.

    Can you try this code (group A number 1 and with the TOGGLE function.)

    0100 0009 0013 0000 0017 01C9 0017 0179 0017 0179 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 0129 0017 00D9 0017 00D9

    Many thanks!
    Unfortunately this is not working.
    But I've got the information, taht the IR reception unit of the Feller BeamIt can be easely exchanged with an FIR2 module. With that module I should be fine.
    Thanks again for the fast reply on a Saturday!

    No problem. Let me know if the FIR2 module works with the PIR-1 to your satisfaction.

    Hi Ron,
    I just received the new IR units with FIR2 (RCA6 codes).
    Do you have an idea how to start with RCA code 32855?
    I attach the document from Feller. Probably this will help others as well!
    Thanks! Herbie

    Hmm I can't find direct information on the RC6A format. Girder does however have the RC6-6-32 format that looks like it might be it.

    Open the IR workshop and in the drop down find RC6-6-32

    It requires a few parameters. OEM1, OEM2, DEVICE and function.

    Your doc talks about customer ID 32855, which is 0x8057 => OEM1 = 0x80 ( 128d ) and OEM2 = 0x57 ( 87 )

    So to create IR code for group A device 1 Toggle:

    OEM1 = 128
    OEM2 = 87
    DEVICE = 0
    FUNCTION = 2
    Toggle = 0

    Click "Copy Generated code to CCF box" to get the CCF. I get

    Code:
    0000 0075 0000 0021 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 09cc
    You can hit play on the left to see if it works. ( pick the output PIR-1 in the top right hand side ).
