    Default 1-wire plugin

    Hi,

    I have downloaded Girder 6 (6.0.098), I'm testing it.

    I dont see the one wire component in the action list, even if the box is checked in the setting ...
    Did I miss something ?

    No the one wire stuff is currently controlled through Lua. It's exposing the 1-Wire public domain key

    Sorry I didn't see the connecting example in the girder help.

    Works well with my ds2490 usb adapter.

    But I didn't find the way to make my LinkUSB (ibuttonlink) working ... an idea?

    Hi Ron,
    Is there a way to get my linkUSB working or will you have to update the driver ?

    The linkUSB can be placed into DS9097U emulation according to this page: http://www.ibuttonlink.com/products/linkusb

    Did you try that?

    (The DS9097U is based on the DS2480 chipset, which is supported by the library. )

    Hi,

    I tested :
    local devices = onewire.DS2480.names() and got this error :OW connection / [string "OW connection"]:6: attempt to call field 'names' (a nil value)

    DS2480 doesn't have the names function. Just pass acquire "COM1" (match your actual comport)

    Hi,

    I can read teperature with OneWieViewer.exe
    (com1 port setted)

    I tested with Girder (OneWieViewer.exe closed) :
    portnum = onewire.DS2480.acquire("COM1")
    print(portnum)
    if portnum <= 0 then
    portnum = nil
    print("Could not open.")
    end

    and I had this error :
    -1
    Could not open.

    1. Are you sure it's COM1 for you? (use the Windows Device Manager to find your comport number)
    2. Did you switch the usblink into emulation mode?
