    Default Philips Hue

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered, but search is not returning it.

Is there a way for the Girder 6 to control the Philips Hue lights? Perhaps a plugin to interface with the Philip's gateway device?

    Thank you in advance.

Is Promixis closed this week? No one knows the answer to this?

It's been a bit of a crazy week sorry. We don't have support for that device yet. The API looks doable. I'll see what we can do.

    Hi Ron,
I too am interested in controlling philips hue from Girder. You've probably seen the link I've included below but I'll post it just in case. It looks like there are several different libraries for controlling hue. One that caught my eye uses JavaScript which might make for easy integration. I hope to pickup some lights to play around with soon, maybe tomorrow.

The straight API isn't too bad, we just have a lot of work going on, on top of that I don't have any hue hardware here - hint hint ;-)

I've got it running using curl with my hue lights. Not pretty, but it works...
